Hsen-Han is a Chartered Professional (CPEng) structural engineer with over 17 years of experience in New Zealand and overseas. He is experienced in project management, new building design, construction monitoring, peer reviews, and seismic assessment and retrofit design of existing buildings. He has been responsible for projects ranging from smaller warehouses and medium-rise residential apartments to large commercial, retirement and healthcare facilities worth up to NZD100 million. He is also a specialist in low-damage seismic-resisting structures, with the energy dissipating friction system he developed during his doctoral research implemented in over NZD4 billion worth of buildings in New Zealand and overseas.

His previous experience saw him managing the technical training of a team of 25 engineers, overseeing company-wide designs, and developing and implementing the internal quality assurance system. He also taught part-time as a structural engineering lecturer at AUT University and the Unitec Institute of Technology

Outside engineering, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing music, tennis, and visiting new places and experiencing other cultures.

Huan is a structural engineer with over nine years of experience in New Zealand. His experience includes new building design, design reviews and construction monitoring, with a portfolio of over 1000 residential and commercial units of up to four storeys and ranging from stand-alone houses to terrace houses and apartments.

Prior to starting Pason, he was a Team Leader in a medium-sized firm leading a team of five engineers where he was responsible for managing the delivery of projects, training other engineers, reviewing designs, and managing client relationships.

Bo is a structural engineer with over seven years of experience in New Zealand. His experienced includes new building design, design reviews and construction monitoring. He has been responsible for the design of over 800 residential and commercial units. Aside from delivering technically sound engineering solutions, he actively pursues and develops new business opportunities and lasting client relationships.

 

Outside of work he captains a soccer team in Auckland, and enjoys spending time with his family.
